HiSTORY
The body of Christ at Cloverdale first met in its present location on July 4, 1976. The dream began with a small group of people from the Westside Church of Christ to serve the eastern part of Searcy. Property was purchased in 1974 and preparations began. For two years, the group met at locations that were offered rent-free, while plans were being made to borrow money and build a building.

This building was owned by Joe and Alice Robinson, on Market St. behind Wendy's. It was offered to the Cloverdale group for meetings while construction on the new building was completed.
