Purposes, Goals, and Objectives of the Education Ministry

- Impart biblical knowledge and spiritual values to students of all ages.
- Provide a fundamental understanding of the gospel message to those who are not yet members of the Lord's body.
- Include teaching that will allow members of Christ's body to "defend the faith" and to present the gospel message.
- Encourage students to search and to analyze the Scriptures in order that a firm conviction of the truth of the Bible is held.
- Provide a forum for student interaction and fellowship.
- Recognize and encourage current teaching staff through public and private methods.
- Recruit new teachers and provide classes to give them basic teaching techniques and procedures.
- Develop a multi-year curriculum for all levels of Bible classes .
- Develop a procedure to determine if the intended biblical knowledge/information presented is understood and retained by the students.
- Insure that the quality of teaching and the subjects presented are of such basic and current interest that there is maximum attendance of Cloverdale members in the appropriate age Bible classes.
- Identify those members who do not attend Bible classes.
